If you’ve never purchased a home before but are planning on it in the near future you’ve probably had the conversation with yourself or your partner about the benefits of owning a home. And more often than not one of the major perks that comes to mind is the financial value. But a study done by Environics Research Group for Genworth Financial shows that there’s a lot more to it. According to the study that was administered across Canada, first-time homebuyers are finding personal fulfillment, emotional well-being and security, and an increased sense of financial stability with the purchase of their home. Now thats something that you can’t put a price on.
