MonsterMortgage.ca Congratulates a Familiar Face

October 16, 2009

We would like to congratulate one of our more recognizable MonsterMortgage.ca Toronto Challenge runners, Richard Greves 76, who was inducted into his home town of Chester, Nova Scotia’s Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009.

Richard played hockey and ran track in his youth in the village of Chester. He attended the University of Acadia and became the first Acaidan Axeman to run the Boston Marathon, where he finished in the top quarter of the field.

As a national-champion runner, Richard has completed over 800 races in over 30 years receiving 43 medals in national competitions including 17 gold medals. Every year, Richard continued to participate and support the annual MonsterMortgage.ca Toronto Challenge, a premier fundraising event held for the City of Toronto’s seniors, ready to run the 5K Challenge.

Over the years Richard has become a familiar face to all of us at MonsterMortgage.ca and we just wanted to take this opportunity to say, “Congratulations Richard!!” We are looking forward to seeing you next year at the annual MonsterMortgage.ca Toronto Challenge scheduled for Sunday June 13th, 2010.
