Recently we received a lot of phone calls regarding the mortgage renewal. We always encourage our clients to start shopping for renewal earlier so that they have enough time to research and plan before the term is up.
Make sure you have marked your current mortgage maturity date on your calendar, and count back 120 days (4 months) – this is usually the time your lender starts to send you the special offer on renewal. Don’t rush to say yes to your current lender, it’s the right time to start researching other financing options!
