Genworth Canada: Meaning of Home Contest

Congratulations to Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Chaamindri Fernando for writing the winning essay in Genworth Canada’s Meaning of Home contest.

This marks six years of Genworth Canada’s Meaning of Home Contest where students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 submit essays for a chance to win a pizza party for their school and $60,000 towards a Habitat for Humanity project of their choice.

Collectively, the Meaning of Home contest has gathered almost $570,000 in grants from Genworth Canada; these grants put towards upwards of 30 Canadian Habitat for Humanity affiliates.
