Seniors tune up for the Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca

May 16, 2011

On Thursday, May 12, 2011, MonsterMortgage.ca and the City of Toronto visited Bendale and Brimley Acres Long Term Care Home in Scarborough for the official launch of the 2011 MonsterMortgage.ca Toronto Challenge.

We were happy to share this event with Jazz great, Peter Appleyard, who was inducted into the Scarborough Walk of Fame earlier that day, Councillor Janet Davis (Ward 31 Beaches-East York) and representatives from agencies providing services and programs for seniors and residents of Bendale Acres and Brimley Acres to promote the Toronto Challenge, the premier fundraising event for Toronto seniors.

The Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca will be held at Metro Hall on June 12. The event features a 5k run, 5k walk and 1k walk on a scenic course though the Entertainment District with prizes awarded to participants in all age categories.
